Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
TITLE/LOVE THEME: PIRATES OF THE
AT WORLD'S END BY HANS ZIMMER
The first two films of the Pirates of the
Caribbean trilogy did not truly give the characters of Will Turner and
Elizabeth Swann a full-fledged love theme, but that element of the
story was finally addressed in part 3, AT WORLD'S END. We hear
the theme in full-orchestral glory, albeit briefly, in tracks
such as "At Wit's End," and "I Don't Think This is the Best Time,"
played longingly in tracks such as: "I See Dead People in Boats," and
then its longest and varied performance in "One Day." From a score
that had no shortage of thematic material, the love theme from PIRATES
OF THE CARIBBEAN: AT WORLD'S END stands out as it captures the essence
of the romantic adventure of the story.
