COMPOSER JOHN WILLIAMS

In 2005, John Williams was a unanimous winner of the Cue Award for COMPOSER OF THE YEAR.  Ironically, he has now followed that win now with two consecutive wins in this category.

Aside from the the "annual" quote of his title theme from the HARRY POTTER franchise and his music for NBC's FOOTBALL NIGHT in AMERICA and SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, there was no John Williams music to be had in 2007.  The weekly dose of football-fanfare could hardly make up for the fact that there was no full, feature-film score to be heard by him.

This unlikely streak will certainly come to a close as John Williams returns to forefront with his score for INDIANA JONES and the KINGDOM of THE CRYSTAL SKULL in 2008.
